Chartmetric’s broader developer offering includes a REST API, direct data shares, and its model context protocol connection. This gives technical teams several ways to work with the company’s data. However, its public pages do not clearly state separate MCP pricing, free limits, trial conditions, a complete tool list, or the exact data available under each plan.

Supported AI assistants and setup

Viberate currently names ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok and provides a dedicated setup route for each. This is useful for non-technical users because they can see the required server address, authentication method, and connection steps before subscribing.

Chartmetric refers to ChatGPT, Claude, and other compatible AI clients. Its technical description suggests broader compatibility, but its public material gives less practical guidance for each assistant.

This makes Viberate easier to evaluate before committing. Chartmetric may support additional clients through the same open standard, but that should not be treated as confirmed until the company documents or demonstrates the connection.

Viberate documents artist and track research, Spotify and YouTube performance, playlist reach, audience cities, demographics, labels, festivals, venues, charts, social activity, radio, and music markets. Its prompts show how several categories can be combined within one request.

The distinction is not simply the amount of data. A useful model context protocol product must expose the right tools and explain how users can apply them. Viberate currently provides more concrete examples of full professional workflows. Chartmetric publishes strong headline coverage, but the exact boundaries of its accessible MCP dataset are harder to assess from outside the product.

Pricing and access transparency

Pricing is one of the clearest differences.

Viberate states that free access is available with daily limits. It also publishes its PRO prices, trial period, upgrade process, and the fact that the subscription is separate from its dashboard plans.

Chartmetric publishes pricing for its standard analytics platform and API, but the public MCP page does not clearly explain whether connector access is included in a specific subscription, sold separately, or subject to separate usage charges.

The main limitation is the lack of public operational detail. Without access, it is difficult to verify exact tool availability, query limits, plan requirements, setup quality, and the depth of historical information returned through the connector.

Chartmetric presents a credible product with broad data coverage and a technically mature connection model. It may be particularly relevant for companies already using Chartmetric’s analytics, API, or data-share services.

Viberate is the stronger top contender for users evaluating a music-data connector from public information. It supports four named AI assistants, publishes clear connection instructions, provides limited free access, and explains how the service can support A&R, management, brand, sync, and data-team workflows.

The choice may change for an existing Chartmetric customer with confirmed connector access. For a new user comparing the products today, Viberate offers the clearer path from setup to practical use. Its MCP server is easier to assess, easier to test, and more transparent about what the user receives.
